Lakeshore Fire Dept Fundraiser + The Sandbar
This was a very long and memorable day for Jimmy 13 as this was the debut of Mark Parrini as our lead guitarist AND we played two gigs in one day. Mark had practiced with us only twice before playing this marathon day, but he did great and adds a whole new dimension to the Jimmy 13 sound. Both of these gigs went smoothly and were a lot of fun. Special thanks to DJ Freddy K who provided us with some additional equipment at the fire dept. gig.

The Oasis
This is the gig that wasn't supposed to happen. We thought this gig had been canceled after Jon had left the band, but Ryan at the Oasis had left it open in hopes that we would reform. The Monday before, Chip was made aware the bar was still promoting the gig. Ryan said we could bring our new guy, Dan Chamberlain, and play whatever we could. Jon agreed to join us and help us out, and the result was a fantastic night of jamming. Special thanks to Amy for letting us know about this gig and Sean Seth for joining us onstage.

The Sandbar
Our first gig at the popular Sandbar proved to be great time with a packed house of partygoers. Aside from Chip breaking a string, everything went well. Check out our video from this gig at our video page.

The Oasis
Lots of birthdays and fun folks who danced later in the night. No photos though, sorry. We're looking forward to coming back when the weather warms up and the outside patio bar opens. Thanks again to Ryan and his staff. See you next time!

South Erie Turners
This was an unplanned gig; we got the call the morning of this day because the band that was scheduled to play couldn't due to an illness. Thanks to Jack Stevenson for suggesting us to the club! We also had to play without drummer Jim Roess because he had to work. Luckily, our old drummer, Chris Loringer, was able to sit in. All went well and we got to see some old friends (Hey mark Kintsler and Brad Schell) and hopefully made some new ones. A nice big club like this with a big stage and friendly people -- Hell, we'll play there any time. Thanks again! And thnaks to Bruce Hunt for running sound.

Oasis Pub
Jimmy 13 on Friday the 13th, what could be more appropriate! This is a great bar to play, and now with the removal of part of the wall separating the two rooms, you can see and hear the band from anywhere in the place. It was great seeing some of Jon and Chip's old high school friends there, and thanks to all of the other musicians (Tito from M80s, Sean Seth and Bob Bafik of "Can't Spell Bob") who joined us on stage.

MDA Black & Blue Ball
Like last year, this was a very prestigious event for us to play and we are grateful to have been included two years in a row. Thanks to Janice and her whole staff for making us feel welcome; you put on a great party! Oh, and thanks to all of those ladies (and one guy) who kept the dance floor going most of the night . We hope to see you again next year!

BrewErie
Another great sounding night with lots of requests coming from the crowd. Special thanks to Tom Esterline and the crew that came with the Schells. Vigs especially hopes we come back soon since he was lovin' that bowl of Jambalaya he ate there before the gig!

Oasis Pub
This unplanned, last minute gig returned Jon and Chip to where they had their first gigs nearly 20 years ago. This hotspot has a great stage area and dance floor, and lots of delicious FOOD! Thanks to the Oasis' Greg and Sean for all their help. We had a fun time and we hope to come back soon (hopefully when it's not a snowstorm).

BrewErie
This place is a BIG hall! It was nice to see some of our old friends and relatives at this gig. Thanks to everyone who came out to this historic setting. We'll be back there in January.

Wedding
Jimmy 13 on Sept. 13th at a great little wedding for Wendy and Grant at the Scottish Rite McClure Hall on old Zuck Rd. Congratulations again, and thanks for having us on your special day!

Rum Runners
What a beautiful night for playing outside on the water at this great little bar. Thanks to all our friends who came out and enjoyed the tunes and the sunset with us. Also, thanks to Buck for joining us on a few songs.

Erie Jeep People Bash
Sure it rained buckets as soon as we got there. Sure it rained later in the night while we were playing. But that didn't stop these folks from still having a great time. (Of course, the alcohol helped, too!) What a great time we had playing for this mud-loving group. Hey guys, we'd love to come back next year, too!

Rum Runners
We would have loved to play this gig, but the bar cancelled us due to the threat of rain. Sorry everyone! We'll be back at this bar August 22.

The Cab
This unusual gig started at about 5:00 p.m. when Chip got a call from drummer Jim that he had bronchitis and wouldn't be able to play. Jim had been sick all week, and luckily our previous drummer, Chris Loringer, was "waiting in the wings" just in case Jim wasn't able to play. Chris played his new electronic drums for the fitst ime at a gig, and they sounded awesome! We were also joined onstage by Chip's sister-in-law's brother, John Tulanko. John's from Ohio and plays in a band there called Rufusx (rufusx.com). John sang and played on six songs with us and showed what a great front man he is. He really got the crowd riled up! Finally, Vig's cousin, Terry Hokaj, was in from Arizona and joined us on guitar for a few tunes. Thanks to all of our guest musicians and to all of the folks who came out to see us. Come check us out at Rum Runners in July.

Chico's
We returned to this great little bar in Fairview that has such a great sound to it. Our percussion player, Vigs, had family and friends from Washington D.C. and Canada come to see us for the first time. Also, be sure to check out the photos of Vig's brother singing "Rapper's Delight". Classic. We also got to see many of the Chico's "regulars" who have heard us before and some of our friends who come to see us on a regular basis. Thanks everyone for making the trip and continuing to support us! Next up: a trip back down Rt. 20 to the Cab again. See you then!

The Cab
Once again, our annual Jimmy Swaney birthday bash was a great time! The Cab was packed with many of our old and new friends as well as Jimmy's family. In fact, the guest of honor sang a few songs with us, and later in the night, Chris Loringer and Pete Gool joined us on stage to play a few tunes. Thanks again to the Cab and to all of the folks that regulary come out to see us.

The Cab
Due to the biggest snowstorm of the year, this gig was cancelled. We'll be back in May, though, for our annual Jimmy Swaney birthday bash. We can't wait!

Erie MDA Black & Blue Ball - Bel Aire Hotel
We were really excited to play this gig since about 250 people were scheduled to attend, and it was in a really big ballroom, so we had plenty of room to move around. Also, we were honored to be asked to play such a prestigious event. Since the program ran a little long, we opted to play one big set full of many of our most fun danceable tunes. The dance floor was full almost the entire time we played, and we want to thank all of those guys and gals who stayed late and had a great time with us! We hope to see all of you again!

Walnut Heights Subdivision Christmas Party
A fun night with just Chip, Jon, and Jim (Nick was out of town). We played in Rich McDowell's basement and had tons of room for a dance floor, which many of the approximately 40 neighbors in attendance used all night! We'd like to play these kinds of gigs for these kinds of people all the time; everyone was very interactive. Hopefully we'll see them again at the subdivision's summer picnic.
